A Split-Second, Forever

How is it possible that viewing an image for a micro-second can impregnate it forever in one’s memory?

Not just sitting there idly, but sending out tendrils to override the positive reserves, and replace and replicate with the horrific. Calculatingly going from grim to despondent to sorrowful, this is a time of change …deep change to recondition our thinking and morality.

It transitioned from selfishly eating all day into a beautiful organism that provides bountiful harvests for others. What can we learn from this? Lent, Passover, and Easter have been engulfed by unparalleled distress predicating solitude and contemplation instead of gathering and bantering. Perhaps it is symbolic of a resurrection … a dawning of a new day, awaiting us all.
