State Trooper Harassed Nassau Resident Online: Police
Police say the trooper, who was stationed upstate, has been suspended without pay.

A New York State Trooper was arrested on Friday and charged with harassing a Long Island resident online, state police said.
According to police, Trooper Jennifer Daignault, 31, who was stationed in Sylvan Beach in Oneida County, used a fake identity to harass a Nassau County resident online. Police said the incident is still under investigation and would not say what the harassment entailed, nor where exactly the victim was from.
Police say that the alleged harassment happened off-duty and was not related to her work as a police officer. Still, state police say that Daignault has been suspended without pay.
