As the days continue, slowly but surely, and words of wisdom, explanation and yes, resentment flood both the airwaves and conversations, I do wonder.
Did the majority of America refute more than a candidate, but also, the ego related celebrity culture that was so prevalent?

Are we weary of the narcissistic and press agent “news” items that pop up with regularity on our devices and in print?
Have we decided it is tiresome to read who is engaged or terminating another so called “commitment” or relationship?

Or bored when gazing in awe at their “baby bump?”
And does it really matter what they are currently wearing or in many cases “not” wearing?
I willingly admit to many age related changes in my mental and physical state of life, but I don’t’ believe my current opinion is related to that issue.
Rather I believe America is weary, and no longer has either the patience or inclination to be in a diminishing audience of admiration as we cope with the realities of life in 2025.
The world is erupting with violence, Gaza, Israel and of course, the Ukraine. Does anyone really care if one of the elite buy an island, or relocates to the UK.?
I doubt I am alone if I say, “Absolutely not.”
November 5, 2024 may have been the line of demarcation for more than a political surprise. It may rank as a distinct change in the culture of celebrity importance for most of America.
