Town of Oyster Bay Unveils New Spray Park For TOBAY Beach
The park, as well as a brand new playground, will be open when when the beaches are fully open this summer.

With summer on the way, Oyster Bay town officials announced that families at TOBAY Beach will enjoy an upgraded spray park and new marina playground.
"The new spray park and playground at TOBAY Beach will be a welcome refuge for children as school ends and summer begins," said Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "Whether you want to beat the summer heat playing at the splash park or swimming in the ocean, TOBAY Beach is the place to be. Contact your friends and family and make TOBAY Beach your own backyard."
The new spray park will feature a green jungle frog which emits a fan spray of water from its mouth, randomly dumping water buckets, cascading water features, spinning spheres of streaming water, an interactive water table, multiple streams of water spouts, random staggering heights of water, safety surfacing and sunshades. This new park will replace the current one, which has become dilapidated from sun and saltwater, the town said. The current playground within the spray park will also be improved with new paint, equipment and sunshades.
