Trio Arrested For Sunrise Mall Burglary Incident, Police Say
Three men were arrested in Massapequa Friday after they were found at Sunrise Mall after hours with a gun and burglary tools, police say.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — Three men are facing criminal charges after they were found at Sunrise Mall in the early hours of Friday morning with a gun and the tools to commit a burglary, police said.
Nassau County police said they responded to the mall at 1:27 a.m. Friday and found doors damaged. A search of the premise revealed the presence of 21-year-old Queens resident Omar Flores, 20-year-old Levittonian Isiah Rodriguez and 19-year-old Floridian Shea Velazquez, police said.
The trio were all arrested; during the arrest police found a speed loader with six bullets in it on Velazquez’s person and would later find a Smith & Wesson .38 Special in his Nissan, police said.

After the incident, all three men are being charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglar tools and criminal mischief, police said. Velazquez is facing an additional charge of criminal possession of a firearm, police said. All three men pleaded not guilty to all of their charges, court records show.
