Two New Restaurants Open Up in Massapequa Park
The two new businesses held their grand openings in March.
MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY - Two new businesses recently opened up in the Massapequa Park area.
Last month, officials gathered for the opening of a restaurant/bar and a burger restaurant.
First, the new bar/restaurant, The Tap Room opened up at 1010 Park Boulevard.

The restaurant offers 36 craft beers as well as foods such as sliders, sandwiches, tacos and more.
Mayor Jeffrey P. Pravato congratulated the owners, James Bonanno and David Johnson on the opening of their restaurant.

Afterwards, the GM Burger Bar opened up in the Southgate Shopping Center on Merrick Road.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of burgers including an ahi tuna burger, a chicken burger, a quinoa burger, among others.
Mayor Pravato cut the ceremonial ribbon welcoming owner George Korten on the opening of his new restaurant.
