Vehicles Collide In Massapequa; 1 Man In Critical Condition: Police

It happened Thurs. evening at the intersection of Merrick Road and Joludow Drive, police said.

MASSAPEQUA, NY — A two-vehicle crash in Massapequa has left one driver in critical condition.

The cars collided at 8:30 p.m. Thurs. at the intersection of Merrick Road and Joludow Drive, police said.

A 74-year-man, who was driving a white, four-door Genesis sedan is hospitalized with more serious injuries, police said.

The 56-year-old male driver of the second vehicle, a 2015 Honda Pilot, was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

Police towed both vehicles for safety checks. The investigation is ongoing.
