Westfield Calling on Job Seekers Including Military Veterans as Job Fairs at Sunrise & South Shore Shopping Centers Approach

Massapequa & Bay Shore, NY - As holiday shopping rapidly approaches, the demand for seasonal employment will soon be on the rise. Westfield will host a job fair at each of its Sunrise and South Shore shopping centers to meet the needs of holiday shoppers and to provide employment to hundreds of people across Long Island. Plenty of stores, including Sephora, Sears and Pandora, will be accepting applications to fulfill their extended seasonal hours.

As part of Westfield’s involvement and compassion for its community, each shopping center will dedicate the first hour of each job fair exclusively to military veterans seeking employment. Westfield retailers will listen to their employment needs and explain the job opportunities available.

The job fair at Westfield Sunrise on Wednesday, October 14th will include employment opportunities at the following retailers: B&D Hair Studio, Hollister, Pandora, Piercing Pagoda, PSC Security, Sears and Victoria’s Secret. The time frame of 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. will be dedicated exclusively to military veterans. The general public is invited from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The job fair will be held at 1 Sunrise Mall in Massapequa at the Lower Level Macy’s Court.

The job fair at Westfield South Shore on Thursday, October 15th will include employment opportunities at the following stores: JCPenney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Men’s Wearhouse, Michael Kors, Pandora, Sephora, The Time Store and Victoria’s Secret. The time frame of 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. will be dedicated exclusively to military veterans. The general public is invited from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The job fair will be held at 1701 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore at the Lord & Taylor Court.
