I don’t know how much longer I will enjoy my wonderful journey, but I have started to reflect upon a few mundane choices recently.
One fell into the category of “regrets,” and as the song goes, “Yes, I’ve had a few.”
However, none are applicable to any of the amazing souls who crossed my path.

Each and everyone I met along the road traveled was a blessing.
A few taught lessons when I needed them the most.

Some others provided examples in what role in life to choose,
Admittedly, of course, there were a few I did not choose to emulate.
However, all who crossed my path taught a different and distinct lesson in my book of life.
For that, I am eternally grateful.
My one major regret is the time I wasted.
Not in watching mindless TV, but with allowing the burden of senseless anxieties,.
Ironically, the majority of my worries never became reality.
The few isolated problems that did occur had never entered my fertile imagination,
So now I do sincerely regret the minutes, hours and even seconds of precious time wasted in useless and unproductive fretting.
I find myself amused at how foolish I was to care about:
Weight
School
Learning to Drive
And then I soberly recall those miraculous events that occurred without warning
Love
Marriage
Children
Today when I focus back to the burden of anxiety, I realize with sudden clarity, I never dwelled on survival.
Yet suddenly I was alone without the gossamer protection of his love, and still
Survival became possible,
And so will tomorrow, whatever it brings.
