We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Long Island Swim School is the teaching arm of the nationally ranked Long Island Aquatic Club. Our Learn to Swim programs create strong, safe, and confident swimmers for life. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. Long Island Swim School offers swim lessons for children ages 2 - 14years old. A Seaford woman was killed when her car struck a tree off the shoulder of the Wantagh State Parkway Thursday morning. State Police said they received multiple calls of a car into the woods on the northbound side of the parkway, south of the Southern State Parkway, around 8:48 a.m.When troopers arrived on the scene they discovered a black Cadillac DTS sedan had struck a tree on the right shoulder at a high rate of speed, police said. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, 43-year-old Amy Giunta, was pronounced dead at the scene. Several motorists witnessed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed before crossing the lanes of the roadway, driving onto the shoulder, and striking the tree, police said. Photo: Google Maps
