Worker Injured at Sunrise Mall

A water company worker was injured Tuesday morning by an electrical shock outside the Sunrise Mall, Nassau police said.

The injured man was an employee of Aqua New York and was working in the parking lot outside the with a crowbar, when he struck a power line.

"He received quite a blast, but we're hearing his injuries aren't life threatening," a police source said.

The man was taken to Nassau University Medical Center following the incident.
