• Honduran National, Who 'Targeted' Children At TJ Maxx On LI, Pleads Guilty To Sexual Abuse: DA (patch.com) — Parents in Medford should know that a man has pleaded guilty to repeatedly sexually abusing young girls at the TJ Maxx in town, in three separate 2025 incidents. Prosecutors say he targeted children who briefly walked away from their parents, and he now faces concurrent prison terms, long-term supervision, and a full stay-away order, while police urge any additional victims to come forward.
   

• Man Arrested for DWI Following Crash with Serious Injuries (lilifepolitics.com) — A 21-year-old Medford resident has been charged with driving while intoxicated after an early-morning crash in nearby Middle Island that seriously injured a Holtsville man and hurt another passenger. Police say both vehicles were impounded, and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Suffolk County Sixth Squad.
