Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Long Island
BREAKING: Use caution if you are out driving tonight or Tuesday morning.

A hazardous weather outlook is in effect across Long Island as dense fog threatens to reduce visibilities on the roadways, the National Weather Service says.
A dense fog advisory will be in effect from midnight until noon Tuesday for Suffolk County. No advisory has been issued for Nassau County, but fog "could become locally dense late tonight," in Nassau, the NWS says.
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed, the NWS advises.
