Man Who Lived at Medford Hotel Found Shot to Death in Middle Island
The 26-year-old's body was found behind a former Kmart store, police say.

MIDDLE ISLAND, NY - A 26-year-old man was found shot to death in a wooded area in Middle Island Saturday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk Police, a woman was walking her dog at about 2:45 p.m. on a path in the wooded area behind a former Kmart store, located at 1075 Middle Country Road, when she discovered the body of a man later identified as Alexander P. Incorvia.
Incorvia, who was a resident at the Comfort Inn located at 2695 Route 112 in Medford, had been reported missing on Thursday. He was last seen leaving his residence on Tuesday morning.
Incorvia’s body was transported to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, where an autopsy will be performed, police said.
