
Patchogue-Medford schools will dismiss early on Monday and be closed on Tuesday as a blizzard nears.
The message to parents and staff from Dr. Hynes, superintendent of the Patchogue-Medford School District:
· There will be no afternoon testing at Patchogue-Medford High School on Monday. Busses from morning testing will leave the high school at 11:30 a.m.

· All Middle Schools and Elementary Schools will close 2 hours earlier than normal on Monday; Middle Schools at 12:39 p.m. and Elementary Schools at 1:30 p.m.
· All Afternoon and Evening Activities for Monday, including the Board of Education meeting are cancelled

· There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten today
· After school child care services will be closed, parents should make arrangements to have their children picked-up or on the bus for the 2 hour early dismissal time which is approximately 1:30 p.m. Again, there is no afternoon child care and all students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
· There will be no afternoon BOCES today.
· Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27. I repeat, there is no school tomorrow.
· All Regents exams will be re-taken in June.
