FOSTER pet parents WANTED - Please help share, foster or adopt if you can - Long Island shelters are over capacity all the time - Repetitive surrendering of amazingly wonderful pets by irresponsible owners is a real problem on Long Island as it is everywhere else. If someone moves they DUMP the pet. If they are pregnant, they dump the pet. If they get a new boyfriend or girlfriend, they dump the pet. These types of persons shouldn't have pets. There are no laws protecting any pet from being "owned" by a moron such as this.
