Police Seeking Man Who Stole Cancer Donation Jar

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man who stole a donation jar in Mastic last month.

According to police, the man pictured above stole more than $100 from a cancer donation container at the Stadium Car Wash, located at 1457 Montauk Highway, on June 3 at approximately 1 p.m. The man is described as a white or Hispanic male between 20 and 30-years-old, around 5-foot-9 with a thin build.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
