Suffolk PD Searching For Bikers In Medford Road Rage Incident
They were in a pack of people who were illegally riding in Medford on Saturday when one punched a car passenger, cops say.
MEDFORD, NY — Suffolk police are on the hunt for two dirt bike riders — part of a pack of about 20 to 30 people — who were involved in a road rage incident in which a Jeep Renegade was damaged in Medford on Saturday.
The pack was riding dirt bikes and ATVs on Route 112, near Woodside Avenue, blocking traffic between about 3:50 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., police said, adding that a male passenger in the Jeep got out onto the roadway and got into a fight with one of the riders and the rider punched him.
The passenger refused medical attention, got back in the vehicle, and it continued eastbound on Woodside Avenue, said police, adding that two riders, one on a red dirt bike and another on a blue dirt bike, damaged the side-view mirror and door of the Jeep.
