Woman Killed in Long Island Crash
BREAKING: A 64-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash this morning, police say.

BROOKHAVEN, NY – A 64-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in Brookhaven Tuesday morning, police said.
According to police, Mary Schwab, of Mastic Beach, was driving a 2008 Honda west on Montauk Highway when her vehicle struck a 2011 Mitsubishi, driven by Kyra Lirosi, that was attempting to make a left turn from eastbound Montauk Highway onto Horseblock Road at 6:08 a.m.
Schwab was transported by South Country Ambulance to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where she was pronounced dead, police said.

Lirosi, 21, of Brookhaven, was also transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552.
