• VFW Auxiliary thanks Job Corps students for service to local veterans (orleanshub.com) — Medina’s VFW Auxiliary publicly thanked Iroquois Job Corps students for years of Veterans Day help, from serving lunches to shoveling snowy sidewalks and building a patriotic bench. Leaders are now planning new community service projects that will bring more Job Corps students into Medina to assist with local clean-up efforts.
   

• Roy-Hart tops Medina in N-O tennis (orleanshub.com) — Medina student-athletes had a tough day on the courts and field, with Roy-Hart sweeping the Mustangs 5-0 in Niagara-Orleans League tennis and East Aurora shutting out Medina 23-0 in lacrosse at Vets Park. The roundup also notes Wilson’s tennis win over Barker and Byron-Bergen’s golf victory over Holley.
