Valk has just begun his term as governor of the New York District of Kiwanis, bringing decades of service with the Kiwanis Club of Merrick to a statewide leadership role. 3. Harold D. Fayette students become young programmers one step at a time (liherald.com) — Second graders at Harold D. Fayette School in the North Merrick School District recently learned basic coding concepts by arranging tiles into simple 'programs' that triggered dances and jumps.
