Arrest Reportedly Made In Murder Of Teen Found In Woods
Police allegedly made the arrest in Maryland and brought the man back to Long Island to stand trial.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Police have made an arrest in the murder of 16-year-old Angel Soler, whose body was recovered in a wooded area of Roosevelt last month.
According to Newsday, police arrested David Sosa-Guevara on a warrant in Maryland and extradited him back to Nassau, where he was arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Friday. Newsday reported that he plead not guilty.
Soler's body was recovered in a wooded area in Roosevelt on Oct. 20. He had been missing since July 21.

But Soler was just the first body recovered by officers in wooded areas in Nassau in the last few weeks. On Oct. 25, officials located the body of 16-year-old Javier Castillo in Cow Meadow Park in Freeport. Two days later, they found the remains of Kerin Pineda, 20, in a wooded area near the train tracks in Freeport.
