Bellmore-Merrick CHSD Hosts Talk On Dealing With A Child's Addiction

"Forgiving Kevin" is a father's story of his seven-year battle with his son's addiction.

On April 19, the Bellmore-Merrick Central High School District will host Larry Glenz as he talks about his son's addiction and how they fought together to overcome it.

The talk is called "Forgiving Kevin: How A Son's Addiction Became A Father's Greatest Teacher." Glenz, a high school teacher and athletic coach, and his son spent seven years battling his addiction.

The presentation will be held at the Brookside School, located at 1260 Meadowbrook Road in North Merrick, starting at 7:30 p.m. This moving presentation is free. Registration is suggested, but not required. Those interested can register by clicking here.
