Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. The Veterans' Hall of Fame is designed to pay tribute to New Yorkers whose bravery and courage in the U.S. Armed Forces is complemented by their service to the community. "The veterans of our military services have put their lives on the line to protect our freedom," Brooks said. "They have dedicated their lives to their country and deserve to be recognized for their commitment." The Senate will honor one veteran from the 8th Senate District, along with other honorees from throughout the state, on Tuesday, May 16, at a ceremony in Albany. Each honoree's photograph and biography will become part of a special online exhibit proclaiming the contributions of these exemplary New Yorkers.
