Mepham Postpones Annual St. Baldrick's Event Because Of Blizzard
The event will now be held next week.

The Mepham High School annual Chop Your Lock's for Charity event is being postponed a week due to the impending blizzard. The shave, which benefits the St. Baldrick's Foundation, is now scheduled for March 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The money raised goes directly to the St. Baldrick's foundation, which aims to fund research which helps find cures and treatment for childhood cancers.
“Participants can register to shave their heads in order to show solidarity for children who have lost their hair as a result of their battle with cancer or they may donate eight or more inches of their hair for Pantene's Beautiful Length's Campaign,” said Kerry Dennis, who is one of the teacher organizers.
