*Educational health seminars for the community feature top specialists discussing the many preventive tests and options available to the community.
*Teen Cooking for Hope & Meals @ Home: Preparing meals can be especially challenging for someone going through chemotherapy treatments. Local teenagers get together and learn to cook various wholesome dishes. Circle of Hope volunteers drop off these delicious and nutritious Kosher meal for those who need it most.
The meals are really appreciated! A meal recipient has said, “I hope you can give feedback to the volunteers - the food was really delicious. EVERYTHING was eaten. I also want you and the chefs’ to know how special it is when you are able to sit down and eat dinner with your family to establish a sense of normalcy. WE all sat and at a wonderful and healthy prepared dinner and talked about “normal/regular day things”. Sometimes when you are sick/dealing with an illness - this is the most important thing in the world and I thank you for it.”
*Wig Bank where those losing their hair can choose a wig to wear during the course of their treatment.
*Complimentary eye makeup lesson, courtesy of Beautiful People Salon
