Craigslist Finds in Merrick

Everyone is waiting for those big Black Friday sales, but there are bargains to be found every day of the week on Craigslist.

Merokeans are selling plenty of items on the popular classified site; some are great deals and some are, um, just interesting to say the least.  Here's a few of those on sale this week: 

There may be plenty of brand new, high tech video games on sale for the holiday season. But right here in town someone is selling an arcade machine stocked with 50 games for $500.

Maybe you're looking for a unique holiday gift, and men: you should. You can buy up to eight Mount Snow ski lift tickets for $60 each. These are good for the whole season.

What do you get the business owner who has everything? Maybe you get them a commercial refrigerator. You can pick one up right in North Merrick for $1,250.

Lots of options for the musicians, or even aspiring ones. Choose from a Roland keyboard for $500, an electric blue drum set for $600 or a Fender bass for $200. If a band forms from these sales, let us know and we'll come write a story.

Anyone with a babies knows how expensive they can get. Luckily someone in Merrick is selling 32 cans of baby formula for $20. Sometimes practical gifts are the best ones!

Lastly, everyone has someone on their shopping list who only wants the latest gadgets. Maybe a Droid Eris, in near mint condition, will be a good match for $100.
