Vendors are invited to sell their ware at $36 a small space, $50 a regular space, and $85 for 2 spaces. Donations of all types of merchandise and household items are welcome and can be picked up or dropped off in advance. Volunteers wanted. Circle of Hope, a project of the Chabad Center for Jewish Life, is a non-profit organization which provides financial and emotional assistance to breast cancer patients, their families and the community. Circle of Hope offers support groups where women can discuss their challenging experiences in a warm, welcoming group setting. Through support groups, women gain knowledge and skills from others in a similar situation. Financial support is given in various forms, such as helping with insurance, providing kosher meals, helping those who are indigent and cannot afford their course of treatment, and providing summer camp scholarships for their children. It also offers a wig bank where survivors could drop off wigs that they no longer need for others to use. Enjoy entertainment for children and adults while supporting this new center for breast cancer awareness, support and aid in the Bellmore-Merrick-Wantagh area. The event takes place Sunday, June 9, 2013, from 9 am to 3 pm, at 2174 Hewlett Avenue, off Hewlett and Benson Lane, Merrick.
