About The Course: Our certified instructors
teach Empire Safety Council courses in a traditional classroom setting in either a 2-day (3hrs per day) or 1-day (6hrs) format. There is no formal testing with this class and your insurance savings will begin the day of completion to the course.
What Is Included: The price of the course includes all classroom materials, student workbook, DMV transmittal to record completion on each students driving record and a tamper proof certificate mailed to each student for their insurance reduction. Students who complete the 6 hour course are eligible for a 10% discount on bodily injury,
property damage, personal injury protection and collision auto insurance premiums for 3 YEARS! Also, each student has the ability to reduce up to 4 points on their Motor Vehicle Report for violations occurring in the last 18
months. This Defensive Driving Class is recognized and approved by all NYS Insurance Carriers and NYS DMV.
The Lesson Plan:
The lesson plan is distinguished from other sponsors with a
state specific lesson plan that is referenced with the NY State Vehicle & Traffic Law manual. There's no generic course here! With our informative workbook by our side, joined by a few safety education films, and an easygoing,
stress free atmosphere we will share our experiences and help each other become more knowledgeable drivers. Adventure into traffic safety awareness!
