Hadassah Names Woman of the Year

The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah has announced it will honor Meredith Gray as its Woman of the Year for 2015.

A life member of Hadassah, Ms. Gray has been involved with the Dayan Lilah Group since 2007, serving in various capacities including Young Leaders’ Liaison and Chairperson of Children’s Events. She has brought many new members to the group and was honored with the Myrtle Wreath Award in 2011, which recognizes members for their superior efforts in membership development. In 2010, Ms. Gray became co-president of Dayan Lilah, a position she held for two and a half years. She currently serves the group as Membership Vice President.

An attorney, Ms. Gray lives in East Meadow with husband, Ben, and their two children, Blake and Addison.

Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women’s organization whose members are motivated and inspired to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity and realize their potential as a dynamic force in American society.
