The sixth grade students at Birch recently had the honor and privilege to meet holocaust survivor Marion Blumenthal Lazan.
Lazan shared her experiences as a little girl who survived the holocaust. She was accompanied by her husband of over 50 years, Nathanial.
This first-hand account of the holocaust was something the students and staff will remember for many years to come. Her positive outlook and message of kindness left an everlasting impression upon all who attended.
