July 17: New Salons Open, Bellmore Reading Group Starts

1. Two new salons have opened their doors in Merrick: Tom New York, which was profiled Monday, and Nevica. Come back to Merrick Patch at 2 p.m. on Tuesday to learn about what this salon will offer patrons.

2. The Bellmore Library will kick off its first adult reading group. Interested? Bellmore Patch will have the scoop at 10 a.m.!

3. Merrick Kiwanis is getting ready for the school supply drive. Head down to La Piazza at 6:45 p.m. to see what help is needed as well as the location and dates of the drives.

4. The Merrick-Bellmore Dayan Lilah Group of Hadassah invites new and prospective members to a fun summer evening to meet new friends and learn about the group’s local activities on Tuesday. For more information, click here.
