Kiwanis to Hold Pancake Breakfast to Feed the Hungry

Kiwanis will be collecting non-perishable food at the event.

Hungry? Get ready for the Kiwanis Club of Merrick's all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast which will take place at Calhoun High School on Nov. 20.

Your hunger will also be a catalyst to help others that are hungry – Kiwanis will collecting donations of non-perishable food items for its Food for Those in Need Drive.

Stacks of pancakes, sausages, juice and coffee are on the all-you-can-eat menu, along with a stack of raffle prizes, including tickets to sporting events and other items and gift certificates donated by local businesses and citizens.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets to the pancake breakfast are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Tickets for senior citizens, students and children are $3.
