Knife-Wielding Masked Man Robs Nassau 7-Eleven

BREAKING: He wrapped a shirt around his face to completely hide his appearance.

A masked man armed with a knife robbed a Merrick store early Sunday morning.

According to detectives, a man entered the 7-11 located at 203 Sunrise Highway and approached the two store clerks, armed with a knife at 2:58 a.m. The robber began to menace the two clerks, ages 58 and 33, with the knife while demanding money from the cash register. The clerks handed over an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

The robber was 6 feet tall, last seen wearing a black coat with red lettering on the left side with the word "Machine" in the logo, a black wool hat, gray gloves, blue sweatpants, black work boots, gray framed sunglasses with dark lenses. He used a blue shirt wrapped as a mask to cover his face.
