Explore the hidden treasures of our own Long Island backyard!
A brand-new, one-of-a-kind trip! We’ll begin the day with a visit to Long Island’s only Friary- a Franciscan community of Friars on the north shore who bake their own bread!
With our on-board guide, we’ll tour and learn about the surrounding historic area. We’ll then head on to the deep water port of Greenport- home to art shops, a spectacular carousel overlooking the water and charming boutiques. You’ll have free time to explore and select an interesting place to lunch (on your own) before our next stop to a local goat farm where you’ll enjoy a tour and some samples of their famous cheese. The day is not finished yet, as we continue on to one of the newest endeavors of micro-breweries on Long Island, where you’ll learn about this new tasting sensation (six varieties) on the North Fork before heading home. With some freshly baked bread and a small surprise! Registration begins Monday, July 8th. A check for $64.00 payable to All Around LI Inc. is due at this time.
