Walter Schacherl, Merrick Local Turns 100
Walter was honored for his century of life.
From the Town of Hempstead: Hempstead Town Supervisor Laura Gillen (left) presents an official Town of Hempstead Citation to Walter Schacherl of Merrick during his 100th birthday celebration held at the home of his daughter Bertha Weinstein.
