Man Attacked by Three Muggers While Walking in Nassau

BREAKING: They pressed what may have been a gun against his back and demanded his money.

A man was attacked by three muggers while walking in Uniondale Thursday night.

According to detectives, a 19-year-old man was walking on Macon Place near Clare Road at 11:35 p.m. when three men approached from behind and placed a hard object, believed to be a gun, in his back. The muggers demanded money, and when the man refused, they hit him in the stomach. The man yelled and the muggers fled westbound on Macon Place and were last seen entering a dark colored SUV that headed west on Uniondale Avenue.
