Our organization provides essential support to Ukrainian Humanitarian parolees through the Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation to Resettlement Agencies (USARA) Program. Through USARA, we help individuals and families achieve stability, economic independence, and successful integration into the community. We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. Someone broke into a car parked on Decatur Avenue in North Bellmore on Aug. 2 and stole a wallet. Someone broke into a car parked on Hastings Drive in North Merrick on Aug. 2 and stole headphones and two tablet computers. A package was stolen from the front of a house on Isabelle Court in North Bellmore between June 30 and Aug. 8. Tyler Jordan Arrington, 19, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Aug. 9 and charged with shoplifting from Rite Aid, located on Jerusalem Avenue in North Bellmore. The front passenger window of a car parked on Lindenmere Drive in Merrick was shattered on Aug. 4.Photo: Patch
