Merrick Business to be Featured on ABC Show
Customers of Inmotion take a moral stance on "What Would You Do."

Inmotion, a Merrick boutique, will be featured on Friday’s episode of “What Would You Do,” on ABC.
According to a employee, the store on Merrick Road was picked out of a few Long Island boutiques because of a certain number of things like foot traffic and set up, and that ABC was wonderful to work with during the filming of the show.
“The filming experience was amazing," said the employee, who did not give her name. "They were very nice to work with and considerate of our needs."

In the setup, a young man makes an attempt to have his girlfriend wear skimpier clothes. Customers come to the rescue of the girl, attempting to make her feel comfortable and telling her boyfriend to let her wear what she wants.
"That's not how a woman should be treated. She's a pretty girl. She can go get someone else who treats her better than you do. ... You shouldn't talk to her like that," says one shopper in a promo posted on the ABC News website.

The store employee said that while being on the show is nice for them, it was the customers that made them the most proud.
“Our customers really rose to the occasion and took a good stance in an ethical situation,” she added.
Owners Renee and Harry Arje are excited to be involved with the show, said the employee interviewed by Patch.
The show will air Friday at 9 p.m.
