Merrick Chamber of Commerce will host their annual fall festival September 27 to September 29 located at the LIRR parking lot on the north side of Sunrise Highway. Friday night, September 27 will be a rides only night with midway open operated by Newton Shows. On Saturday and Sunday, Merrick Avenue between Loines Avenue and Sunrise Highway will be shut down between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the street fair portion of the event.
Hundreds of crafters will join Merrick businesses in this very successful fair. Proceeds raised by the Merrick Chamber of Commerce fro this event will fund the community holiday lights program and various beautification projects.
