Nassau Home Invasion: Two Armed Men Steal Electronics, Shoes

BREAKING: They got in through a basement window and stole from a 17-year-old boy.

Police are searching for two men who broke into a home in Roosevelt early Sunday morning armed with guns and robbed a teenager.

According to police, a 17-year-old was asleep in his bedroom in the basement of a Jefferson Avenue home in Roosevelt at 3:15 a.m. when two men armed with handguns came in through the window and demanded money. The two men then began to ransack the room, taking the teen's cell phone and a pair of boots. They then brought the teen upstairs and stole electronics.

The two tried to enter another bedroom, which was locked. The teen's father was in the room and called out, causing the two to fell the home through the front door. No one was injured.

The first robber was a black man, about 6 feet tall, with a muscular build, wearing a black ninja mask, dark clothing and armed with a semi-automatic handgun. The second robber was also black and about 6 feet tall with similar clothing, armed with a revolver.
