Nassau Police Make Another Arrest In Murder Of Angel Soler

This is the fourth person to be arrested in the death of the teen, who was murdered by alleged MS-13 gang members.

Nassau County police have arrested a fourth man in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Angel Soler in 2017.

Police today announced the arrest of Kevin G. Lopez-Morales, 20, of Roosevelt. Police say that, in addition to the murder of Soler, Lopez-Morales was also responsible for an incident where human remains were discovered in the Roosevelt Preserve on May 30, 2018.

Lopez-Morales is charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

Soler's body was recovered in a wooded area in Roosevelt last October.

The body of Soler was found after he had been missing for months. He was last seen leaving his home on July 21, 2017. Police now know that gang members lured him to a wooded area in Roosevelt and brutally murdered him with machetes.

Soler's remains were buried in the woods until police received a tip about where they may be and launched a massive hunt, leading to the recovery of his body in October 2017.
