Nassau Woman Robbed At Gunpoint While Trying To Sell Phone
Police say the woman was robbed of a phone she was trying to sell to someone who contacted her on social media.
A woman was robbed at gunpoint while trying to sell her cell phone on Monday, police said.
According to police, the 28-year-old woman went to Cottage Place in Roosevelt just before 7 p.m. Monday to sell a cell phone, which had been posted on social media. The buyer, a man, examined the phone, then pulled out a black handgun and grabbed the phone from the woman. The man fled south on Cottage Place and then headed west on East Raymond Avenue.
The robber was about 20 years old and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.

No one was injured.
