Why do the postal workers go "postal" when it is the customers who line up at the post office in South Merrick and get ignored and abused? Time to speak up when there is one civil service worker for 10 potential customers. Time to ask what I have been pondering for years. Where is the stamp machine in the lobby? Time to ask why workers are not prepared for the extraordinary long lines every January 2nd. There is strength in numbers. Please smile and request assistance and more help at this location but be sure to let us know if anyone smiles back.
