UPDATE: Teen With Bipolar Disorder Found

The teen who has family that lives in Merrick was located, unharmed.

Jason Geier, 18, of Dix Hills, was located, unharmed, police said Wednesday.

Suffolk County Police have issued a silver alert for a missing Dix Hills teen who has bipolar disorder, ADHD and depression.

Jason Geier, 18, was last seen leaving his home, located at 43 Arista Drive, on foot on Tuesday at approximately 3:40 a.m.

Police described Geier is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 130 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans. He is in need of medication.

Police say Geier has family that lives in Merrick.

Anyone with information on Geier is asked to call 911 or the Second Squad at 631-854-8252. A Silver Alert was issued for Geier last April. He was found safe.

A Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
