The MERRICKS MAKE MUSIC outdoor summer concert is Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m., at the North Merrick Public Library, 1691 Meadowbrook Road. NMPL will host, for the sixth consecutive year, Merrick students in a musical salute to the neighborhood. Performances by the North Merrick Jazz Band, Calhoun-Mepham Chamber Orchestra, Merrick Avenue’s vocal group Word of Mouth and the Calhoun High School Jazz Band. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and settle in for a great night.
