Three Cool Fitness Facts:

1. So many women focus on dieting and cardio, but not enough on weight training, which is how we shape our bodies to get that buff look. In basic terms, muscle burns fat! So if you want to get rid of it, lift weights to build strong muscles & burn that gut & butt! 2. Exercise makes you eat more...NO! Actually, a vigorous workout shifts hormones that may help suppress your appetite post workout. Studies show that women who had a 45 minute morning workout were not as hungry compared to a non-exercise day. 3. Lift with your mind: A recent study showed that when we think of the specific body part we're working on, the muscle in that area increased by up to 26% because the brain sends signals to those tissues, which causes a greater number of muscle fibers to fire. Pretty cool huh!!! :)
