The show features home renovations for families who are struggling with medical problems.
Three families from the South Shore will be appearing in the eighth season of NBC's "George to the Rescue," a home renovation show that helps improve the houses of families in need.
The show, which premieres on Saturday, Sept. 23, features George Oliphant helping to improve the homes, and the lives, of people with disabilities. This season will feature families from Merrick, Bellmore and Island Park.
"'George to the Rescue' is all about helping deserving families with life-changing renovations," Oliphant said in a release. "This season's projects are focused on people who are bravely facing significant physical challenges and obstacles. We're honored to make their daily lives a little bit easier."
