I will be the first to admit that I am my own worst enemy.
I don't know what it is, but recently, I have been giving in to temptation. I haven't been eating the right things, and it's so easy to get caught up in a downward spiral. But enough is enough, and tomorrow is a new day.
On a typical day, I start off with either egg whites and a vegetable or a bowl of kashi. I try to get to the gym by late morning, so I have a protein shake (1 scoop) before and a protein shake (1 scoop) after my 30-45 minute workout, which consists of high incline treadmill work.
After that, I may have a piece of fruit or a 100 calorie pack before dinner, which consists of a meat source, vegetable, salad and water. Then I have another protein shake at about 8-9 p.m. to help cure that night time craving.
But recently, my choices have not been ideal. Call me weak, but I have been giving in to temptation, and it's hard to identify why.
I'll tell you one thing though. This ends now. I am getting back on track. It's not about what I way, but more about feeling and being healthy. I have also pledged to not weigh myself until Nov. 1. Let's see if that works out.
