Two Men Rob Nassau Dunkin' Donuts at Gunpoint

They emptied out the cash register before fleeing out the back door. No one was injured.

Two men robbed a Dunkin' Donuts in Roosevelt at gunpoint Wednesday night.

According to detectives, two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered Dunkin' Donuts, located at 306 Nassau Road at 8:52 p.m., approached the two store clerks and demanded money. The clerks complied and opened the cash registers. Then the robbers emptied the contents into a bag that they had brought with them. The robbers fled out of the rear door into an alley and ran in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.

The first robber is a black man, 18 to 25-years-old, about 5-foot-7 with a thin build, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black gloves and carrying a lime green backpack.

The second robber is 18 to 25-years-old, about 5-foot-9, with a thin build, wearing a black ski mask and gloves, armed with a small black handgun with silver slide, and carrying a red/orange drawstring type bag.

Detectives ask that anyone with information about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
